Has anyone else seen this system, or know what it is?

Here's the details:
143.435Mhz
DMR CC:7 RAS

All of the transmissions are either 'Emerg ENC TXI BCAST OVCM group call' or 'ENC TXI BCAST OVCM group call'. The majority (98%) are emergency group calls.

All of the transmissions are on Slot 1, and the TGs numbers are all over the place. E.g. 31461, 62117, 47333, 65508, 65509, 51941, 29925, and more..

RIDs are random as well. E.g. 1047xxx, 1037xxx, 478xxx, 970xxx, 126xxx, and more..

TG 65509 is the only TG I've noticed used more than once; and it was used with the RIDs listed above.

I'm not sure if this is in Indiana. I have received Grissom ARB (138Mhz P25), Wisconsin (139Mhz P25), and Ontario, Canada (142Mhz P25) in this frequency range. I'm located near Hartford City, IN, and this signal isn't very strong. I routinely receive Vermillion county, Illinois DMR (151/154Mhz DMR) signals stronger than I'm receiving this 143Mhz signal.

Just curious if anyone else has received this system using DSD+, or may know who or where it might be from.

YMMV being able to hear Canada, but the US Band plan down there is generally
143.4250, 143.4375, 143.4500 - that said, rather interesting find for DMR in that section which is generally Military [US]

From my database: I know of nothing in Illinois or Wisconsin. Canadian assignments in this band would be at 143.415 or 143.430 MHz. There is a US Army assignment in Crane IN and a USAF assignment at Grissom. Hope that helps.

Now that I have looked at the original post my comments on Crane and Grissom were for 143.425 MHz. Under the current DoD band plan as I understand it, this is a nationwide DoD maintenance assignment.

143.4375 MHz the next freq up and closest to your 143.435 (which I initially misread as 143.425, old eyes sorry), is a Northcom training and tactical assignment. Climbing the ladder again 143.450 MHz is a USAF MARS repeater pair assignment, usually an output.

The Canadian assignments would be at 143.425, 143.430, and 143.445 MHz.

Now I feel better now that I see you were talking about 143.435 and not 143.425 MHz. Sorry for the confusion.

Larry
