I am in Mobile, AL and picking up traffic on 151.43 MHz with a tone of 141.3 Hz, I’m pretty its George County EMS. Can anyone tell me the location of this repeater and if George County first responders are the primary users? This morning I heard a transmission requesting George County Fire and EMTs respond to an accident 3 miles east, of the weigh station on Hwy 98.. But the listing I see in the FCC database for that frequency is an expired license for GEORGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WQLP849 expired 03/24/2020. Can anyone local confirm that 151.43 in used in George County? And who are the users?

Did you happen to hear 2-way transmissions on that frequency? I'm just wondering if you might of stumbled on a system they're using specifically to page out fire stations for calls. I'm fairly certain that all public safety communications in George County is on the 700mhz MSWIN.

It was one way and yes it seems to be used to page out fire stations for calls. What I'd like to confirm is it George County? Is it a page out system? Where is the transmitter? Who is actually using this system? My reception is marginal, I'm 25 miles from Lucedale but that's where I guess the signal originates. What I was hoping is someone in that area would plug the frequency in their scanner and be able to determine more about what I'm hearing...
