database lists Suisun City and Merced as using, but no tones

anybody know who it is? I'm only getting barely audible audio, so I can't really listen to it while at home. Hasn't popped up while I'm out, so haven't been able to do it that way.

As a side note, I heard Modesto PD channel 1 and 2 for the very first time from here in Sacramento.

I was going to ask to confirm that the 460.5 PL 173.8 and 460.375 PL 173.8 are correct. For some reason, they started coming in over the past two days...not sure what changed. They're nice and clear too, not marginal.

Interesting. Once in a while I'll pick up Stockton PD at home with my Radio Shack 800 MHz antenna, but it's a little scratchy. I'll have to program Modesto in and see how it sounds from my house.

Your Modesto freqs/PL's are correct.
460.375 is channel 1
460.500 is channel 2

Suisun City does use a tone. It's 107.2. I will have to listen for the other user you are hearing.

UPDATE: Just heard the dispatcher identify herself as "Placer" on the freq and PL you provided. This freq is licensed to Placer Co WNVZ343, but I can't find anything in books I have as to it's use. It sounds law enforcement related. It could be a remote site too?
