I thought this was a Provincial Fire frequency. I see it is a standard PFF but don't where it is digital. Any ideas?

Shouldn't be any digital comms on that frequency, if that's what you're saying is happening. Strictly analog.

I don't know if the same is true in SK, but I seem to recall that our license for that freq (for my fire dept in AB) expressly stipulates no PL or other coded squelch is allowed. I would expect the same to be true of modulation forms too.

I'm going to set up my Icom R-7000 and see if it will get the same signal. It maybe this old scanner and intermod of some sort.
