I was picking up tons of skip last night, and I don't have a premium subscription, so I can't use the freq search feature with PL tones. I need some help finding out who uses this frequency. I already searched the FCC site and compared them to freqs in this database to see if the PL tone matches but no luck.

It sounded like a fire department, they were talking about "on scene, in service", etc.

Thanks Guys! :) :) :)

I'm thinking you're probably hearing Monroe County Michigan Fire...not sure of the PL, but the dispatch has recently changed to 159.09.

Oh? Why does my radio show a PL tone EVERY time I hear 'Monroe County Central Dispatch to 32 Frenchtown, etc....' on 154.370?

Monroe County is not on 154.37... they have 154.43 85.4 and 159.09 CSQ. Are you talking about Monroe Coutnty, MI? Cause if so they are not licenced on 154.37

KCChiefs,
Where on the FCC site is PL/DPL located at?
There is no PL/DPL search on the FCC site, you have to do it the hard way. What I do is when I find a frequency that's unknown to me, I look it up on the FCC site, then when I find a possible match I compare the PL/DPL that my scanner decoded to the database on this site.
