Hey folks,

Traded my Ford Five Hundred for a 2009 Hyundai Elantra. Had to have something with a bit better gas mileage. Installed is the following :
EQUIPMENT:
1 - Motorola Syntor - 800 with A9 head
1 - Midland VHF (8 channel) mobile - Not pictured. Its under the driver seat.
1 - Uniden BCT-8 Scanner

Antennas:
1 - VHF - MaxRad 1/4 wave (Midland)
1 - 800 - Motorola Whip (Syntor)
1 - 800 - MaxRad 1/4 mounted on rear deck (BCT-8)
1 - GPS - Antennex mounted on rear deck

*** I do plan on eventually replacing the factory stereo with the aftermarket stereo that was in my Ford so I can move the BCT-8 up in the dash.

Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoy !!!

Daniel:

Really sharp install on the both inside and outside!

I've just bought a 2006 Sonata and the dash and console setup seems almost the same as the Elantra, so you've given me some ideas about mounting my gear.

Thanks much!

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the compliments. Sorry I was a couple days late on responding. I had surgery and haven't felt like getting on the computer lately, LOL.

I really like the mileage I'm getting out of this car. In my Ford Five Hundred it cost me roughly $70 to fill it up and I'd get about 400 miles or so out of a tank, and with this car it's only about $35 to fill it up and I get the same amount of mileage. LOTS better on the wallet, LOL.

Again, thanks for the comments !!
