2009 Ram 1500

New install.
GRE PSR-400 in the dash.
Alpine Media Head unit(no CD player)
Radio Shack external speaker under the steering, behind the place you hit your knees.
Firestik scanner antenna, stake pocket mount with spring.

I know the antenna is off kilter. Bed Rail is not flat, has sloping sides. Going to work on a fix for that.

No external power for the speaker. Should have mentioned the install was done by the stereo shop that did my Alpine. I did take everything out of the package myself though.....haha.

You can call it MIT engineering, but I had the same issue with a spring load mount (being off kilter), So I wedged a stainless steel screw into the spring and made it stand up straight. Didn't hurt the reception one bit.

You did a real good job of cutting the dash to make it work. I hate the 1.5 DIN's.
