2021 Chicago marathon

Good evening the 2021 Chicago marathon is this Sunday. Keep an ear on CPD Citywide's 5 and 6, CFD Citywide fire, Joint ops, some of the 800 MHZ talk groups, and the Superior Ambulance talk groups on the Digi talk system. One of my friends is a ham radio operator working one of the first aid stations so keep an ear out there as well. With temperatures forecast to be in the eighties things should be interesting. JHAT units using the encrypted 1011 talkgroup, UHF Citywide Fire/Joint-Ops and CPD Citywide 6 primary in use. Radi-Link Cap+ system in use, and Superior Ambulance in use on the Diga-Talk system.

Interesting observation on Superior's Diga-Talk usage...I'm seeing an IP link in use on the Special Events talk groups. Units are being patched on the Diga-Talk system via an IP link. Seeing SPEVENT(1-5) IP223.
