I found a post here about speakers on several Uniden pocket scanners. My 246 seems to have lost its internal speaker. I have the unit apart and I will try to replace it. I was wondering if I could install a 2nd unrestricted jack to run full power on a externial speaker? I assume the factory jack is power limited and the speaker I got (speaker mic type) sounds poor. Any ideas?
