I'm hoping someone on here can help me out. I'm trying to figure out if the 250d can monitor the Illinois Starcom system, the Indiana Hoosier SAFE-T system, and the Ohio MARCS system.

I know that i will have trouble with the Starcom system because it uses several 700mhz control channels which i don't think the 250d can handle.

Other than the few 700mhz channels, will i be ok to monitor everything else on those systems?

Thanks for the help! And also, if someone could point me in the direction how i can figure out which digital systems use 9600baud vs. 3600baud.

The easiest way - and the way I really wish the admins would pick this up - is to look in the database and see if there's any analog voice channels. As far as I understand this, true P25 systems - those that run 9600 baud, and are not decodeable with the 250d or 785d, even with the card installed - have no analog voice channels. Everything in such systems is digital.
Anything running both digital and voice are likely 3600 baud systems, which the 250d and 785d will handle with the card installed. Some call such systems 'mixed mode', and by all accounts are not true P25 systems.
