Strong foreign voice but I swore I heard him try to speak English for a second.


Dorne and Margolin DMC-120 foldout antenna in the attic with a run of LMR400 feeding an Electroline 4 port preamp/multicoupler. Uniden 996 for a reciever. The 996 makes a surprisingly excellent Mil Satcom receiver. It's sensitive with low noise.

There are Pirates using Satcom frquencies. I understand they are possibly Brazillian and are using modified 222 mhz rigs. Thats what read out there once while researching Satcom...73 Ray


ps : check out Hearsat.org and uhf-satcom.com...really cool info for hobby listeners
