250-270 is just you never know whats gonna come up?, like the Car Alarm, or in CW "save Ukraine"
broadcast..etc.etc. sometimes interesting tuning around there and you do not even need a special
antenna at all...I have copied Pirates on my old Pro-43 at my desk ...Marcy

You mean like this😆.. you know with your location and that antenna this service could have been coming from anywhere, it could be Poughkeepsie New York or somewhere in Connecticut, how is your propagation tonight?

This station is still going on 261.835 with Eastern Orthodox church services , very strong right now
here 24/7 most of time you will copy stations with music and stuff 250-270 and they are gone but
this one has been months , I really enjoy the Eastern Orthodox Church choir music reminds of my
youth...I checked all over cannot find any concrete ID on this but it really is a anomaly to me , you
should try to see if you copy this ? I wanted to see if I could just get it on my old Pro-43 in the
shack and had it (very weak of course) with stock rubber duckie.. but on my Discone usually S 5-7
I do not of course understand what they are saying but the music is nice, I did not even
understand when I kid! ...but it was beautiful to listen to the choir and the chanting...gud listening

It was even posted to You Tube ..if you put in search "261.835" the piece that was posted just has a OM speaking in Russian not the Eastern Orthodox Church/music I mention but sometimes it is just talk by a YL/OM...Marcy
