What makes people think that they can just flame other members? Flaming is against the terms of use that you agreed to when you signed up. Why is it that the threads I start tend to end so badly? Especially the ones with inane subject matter?

TNT should be a lesson to all of us. He's 10-85 as hell and has his own, shall we say, "creative" way of doing things. But no one can say that he doesn't put a HUGE amount of genuine effort in to contributing.

xerb, Lou is our friend (I can still say that because I haven't drawn his ire — yet). We all ought to be nice to the people who do the work to keep this forum up and running for all of us. You drew flags for unsportsmanlike flame job, roughing the moderator, off topic posting, and tread jumping. The call was fair.

What is tread jumping?

When you take a subject from one thread that has, for example, been closed by a mod and drag it into an open thread with a subject has nothing to do with the closed thread. Similar to hijacking.

For the record, I'm a TOTAL hypocrite for throwing that flag. I've been known to jump a thread or two.
