297 even

There has been some controvery in other threads that I have read here on RR.Com. So I thought I would add this thread.

The 167th Air Guard is still using 297.000., it has not been rid of. Callsigns verified. I got them loud and clear from West - Central WV.

FYI. Charlie West ( 130th Air Wing ) is still 302.300 , and at times is still worth listening to.

Yea I still get the 130th at 302.3 whenever they do a transmission(not that often) ......

Galaxy Control was alive and well on 297.0 MHz as of yesterday morning. They could change tomorrow, but for now the status is quo. They did have a new visitor yesterday morning. First time I have seen these folks. Some High Rollers!

What's really amazing is there is about a football field between the two also.

Here's another view with Decoy99 / 70-0455 / C-5A on the roll with the C-130 E/H / 79-0477 / Nevada ANG / 152nd AW in Reno / in the background. 0455 went out as a heavy and took almost 7k of runway for departure. Roller77 went out about 2 hrs later cleared to Atlanta.
