ok I thought so but the "band plan" from the ARRL
Band Plan
has it starting higher up the band than 3500khz.
Anyways I hear a lot of CW today at 20 and 15meters too:) very active.

3500-3525 is CW only for Extra Class Licensees and no one else. In general, the lower end of 80 meters is CW, although as was written above you're liable to hear CW at any point in the 3500-4000 kHz range. That ARRL Band Plan referenced above is a total waste of time in that the information given is incomplete.

That band plan shows 80M as being from 3500 to 4000, it does not specifically define where CW only is, but remember CW is allowed anyplace on the band, it is not restricted as other modes are.

This plan: http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Hambands_color.pdf is a better one to graphicaly see the bands.
