Just a short note to say Hello and to let you know I also have a serious interest in monitoring the Low Band Frequencies. I use a Vertical with radials at 25 feet above ground. The antenna is actually a CB antenna called an Antron A-99.
I also have a Uniden trunktracker IV and a small Uniden handheld BC 72XLT.

Wonder what the dimensions of your dipole is and is it vertical or horizonal?
