just as an FYI, there are a few threads in the VA regional forum on these. I'm guessing due to the amount of these systems in the Northern VA/DC/MD area they are probably in other places in the country.

you may want to check out the VA forum and I think I posted some on the WV forum a while back. there may be some common info on all of them. there was a lot of activity yesterday on one. my girlfriend, who was in the military, said it sounded like war games.brandon said:There are a couple 380 MHz P25 control channels in SoCal.
386.0625 and 386.375... there were a couple threads in the California forum about it. So far they are in site trunking mode and no activity.

do you think in time they will have the ability to link all of these together in some way?

Much of those systems were set up for peak activity during an acute situation, not for everyday stuff.
huh... California doesn't have any 380MHz with a System ID of 005.
We need more detailed information on the control channel you are hearing.
It could be this system ?
Joint National Capital Region (Raven Rock/Site R)
System ID: 005
WACN: 580A0
Joint National Capital Region (Raven Rock/Site R) Trunking System, Raven Rock, Pennsylvania - Scanner Frequencies
