396 program for 296

Will a program for a bc396 work on a 296. Reason I ask is a buddy of mine has a great program for his 396 and I'm wondering if it will work for my 296 Thanks

No, it shouldn't. The configuration of the channel layouts is totally different. However, the cut/paste routine is always a good fallback action. But, come to think of it, if you don't have a computer program for the 296, you can't do that either.

Or a better solution is to dump the 396 contents into a CSV file, edit it to the way your friend wants it, then import it. Many of the better control programs allows for this, such as ARC250 and Scan Control 73s Mike
