Is there anyway to keep the voltage meter on in the display all the time during scanning or is it only visible while pushing the scroll button?

Twice Count? Not sure what you mean. It still turns off at the same amount of time that the press of the scroll control does.

Doesn't holding Func and pressing the scroll knob twice qualify as a method to "keep the voltage meter on in the display all the time during scanning"?

It works for me with my 396.

Not me and my 396.

Edit - tried it again a couple of times - now it works. Thanks.

It's the P25 threshold adjustment mode.

True it is on the 396 as you pointed out, but not on the 330 because it doesn't use the P25 threshold adjustment mode. (yes, not what the original poster was asking).

Quoted to avoid confusing the confused (no, obviously not you).

It was an _answer_ to a _question_.

The first prior post with a _question_ was written by executioner.

Is...that...clear...enough...for...the...confused? (I though speaking slowly might help)

I knew about hit FUNC the scroll twice. The only problem with that is that if I change the volume at all it will go back to normal and then I have to press FUNC and scroll twice again. And also while it's in that p25 threshold adj. , you're unable to turn the scroll button to i.e skip the freq. it is currently picking up. To do so, you have to take it out of the threshold adj.
