396T keeps cutting out

I have a couple VHF digital groups setup and one Conventional group setup.When I scan the scanner cuts out every 2 or 3 seconds then continues again.Say if someone was to talk for 30 seconds you would keep getting a cut out every few seconds,loosing the transmission,but when it continues your still on the same channel..If you watch the station power meter it will black out then come back again,hope I explained this ok.Thank You

Check your priority settings.

Is the priority set to search?

Breaks every 2 seconds on conventional only: Priority is turned on.
Breaks every 2 seconds on conventional or trunked: Close Call is turned on.
Breaks every 5 seconds on conventional or trunked: WX Priority is turned on.

The close call is the reason i think... Or is one of them.
When i have CC on and scanning it cuts out alot. Try taking that off and see what ya get

Easiest way is to do a full reset.

You DID backup the programming, right?
