BCD436HP/BCD536HP: 436hp question

Hi. Im using the SLATER SYSTEM in st louis cnty missouri for fire/ems only since pd is encrypted. I have the 436hp. Is there a way to turn on voice buffering in p25 trunking talkgroups? St louis cnty also has 3 vhf freqs for analog 2 tone paging at the stations and theres a delay in dispatch voice on my pager to my 436hp not talking at the same time. What should i do? TIA

No such feature as "voice buffering". There's nothing you can do except get used to the slight delay in transmissions between receivers.

I think digital signals always or almost always have a slight delay because the transmitting radio's vocoder has to digitize the signal and then transmit, and the receiving radio has to decode it, and I think that takes a second or two.
