Any idea as to what Omaha is still using this channel for?

I have done some listening and I have heard NOTHING on 460.275 in Omaha. Most likely you heard a telephone interconnect system that has a bad transmitter. I have heard these guys on several frequencies while in South Omaha, so I am pretty sure it is a sick repeater.

Sometimes these things take a while to work themselves out.

On a positive note-since all of the IMTS stuff has been shut down in Omaha the uhf intermod in Omaha has virtually disapeared! Thankyou ATS.

How much equipment does ATS even have on UHF?

They do not use it no more, but they still have some radios that are programmed for their "old system". Those radio just sit around and collect dust.

If you have the PL tones for the old repeaters see if they are still around

They still have 3 or 4 channels of uhf paging and 4 or 5 channels of vhf paging, but paging traffic is very low on most of them these days. Cell phones really killed the paging biz.
