464.3 in Virginia Beach

Picked up 464.3mhz with a pretty strong signal. Using 2 different ctcss codes. The one I remember is 94.8. They were using terms "breaker breaker" and "over and out." They talked about putting a tent away. Licensed to City of Virginia Beach and transmitter location is school plant.

TX is 469.3mhz.

464.3000 is widely used in VA Beach for rec centers and schools with a lot of PL tones and DCS , 464.3000 and 469.300 are simplex only, Newer Larger Schools are the only ones with repeaters and do not use 464.3 or 469.3

Interesting. I picked up great neck rec center on 153.92mhz.

Kempsville rec and Bow creek are on 464.3, with DCS 223.
Grt Neck is so close to Cox High they prob had to switch....153.920 was another widely used Itinerant used in VB.
