996t connect to RR data base problem

Per previous advice from the group, I purchased the latest ARC996-Pro Software.
I am a paid member of RR, and can log on. But still get the message on the bottom of the window that allows the user to select the States, etc.
"Radio Reference disconected, wait for http server" and waited 10 min. and shows nothing.
any more ideas, as I just spent dollars and have the same message as before, with the older ARC software.

Update the software since your are trying to use the old webservice, goto Butel Software then click downloads for all the latest builds.

Yup

I would have to say the software is at fault redownload it from butel or freeescan and install it then put it your serial number for the paid software.If it doesnt work,your internet is blocking a port to the radio reference server,so use zone alarm as a tool and see what port it needs then unblock it.
Sometimes windows is a POS and it blocks the application as well,check!
My issue was I was using an old butel,nice of them to let us know .....Hey BUTEL how about a update program like every other program out there?
oh yeah make it optional.
