hey heres a question for u i recently updated the firmware in my radios at work now the dont work at all no rx signal on anything even the wx freqs and ideas of what is wrong i also got a bc15 that quit working this is so strange

This is almost impossible to diagnose; there isn't much information here. Did you follow all the steps when you did the new firmware? It kinda sounds like something didn't work here.

Re the BCT15s - did you do the new firmware (which is not the same as the 996) to that one too?

Really, more info is needed. The fact that it won't even receive weather suggests the update process didn't work, or maybe there's something screwy with the antenna connection
