This may be more of a Tavern question, but it is primarily Texas specific.

Okay, first of all, a little background. I am doing a project for one of my Design classes where we have to design a Billboard (in color) and a Black & White magazine ad (why B&W? Your guess is as good as mine, but that is what the teacher wants) for a charity or organization of our choice. I have chosen the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
Now here is my question, does anyone have a couple of high-quality photos of wrecked Police/Sheriff/DPS patrol cars that I can use? I'd prefer local Departments (Houston area) but, since this has to be done, printed and mounted by next Tuesday, I'll take pretty much anything at this point.
I have already tried doing searches for usable photos, but the pics I find are either way to small (typical web low quality, the project is to be 13"x19") to use, or are just not what I have in mind...of course, I have no idea what, specifically, I am looking for, but I'll know it when I see it.

OR

Does anyone in the Houston area know where I can find wrecked Units that are legally accessible so that I can take the pictures myself?

Thanks in advance!

One thing you could do is go around to the auto auctions where the insurance companies take all of the totaled cars. Like IAA or Adesa auto auction. They would probably have a wrecked PD car.

Check out the local Police impound lot, the operator there will most likely help you find what you are looking for. Normally the wrecked police cars are stored there until the insurance company settles.

Swing by the ready lot at DPS Headquarter in Austin, believe its off Guadaloupe north of the Capitol several miles. They used to park all the wrecked DPS cars out behind the make ready building. The last time I drove by there, they had some amazingly banged up squad cars. You could get some good pics standing off on the street. If you don't want to drive all the way to Austin, check with you local police department. Most have lots were they park all the wrecked squad cars and they would probably let you go out and take some pics if you tell them what you will be using them for.

For HCSO, go to the Baker address, I believe that's where they take all of thier wrecked units and all cars for investigation.
