I have so far heard some activity on Air 2 coordinating helicopters that will do a fly-by. I am curious to hear what is used to manage the massive amount of motors that will be involved. I also wonder if they will give a special 10-42 on any of the channels today.

I did hear the 10-42 call about 1303 hours. Very fitting.

Video of the funeral procession.

The procession was huge. As always happens when an officer is laid to rest, brother officers from untold agencies attend. The loyalty and compassion displayed by the law enforcement community at a time like this is indescribable. The hearse and family were at the cemetery long before the last of the vehicles in the procession even left the church. There was also a fly-over in formation by an Air Med helicopter, a Life Flight helicopter, and the DPS helicopter.
