Wasn't a patch CG and other units were giving XTS3000s to use.

Also when underway during this in port race heard very very informal radio traffic on MNRP/DNR freq of 151.1375mhz. Mostly just joking and no callsigns heard on this freq.

Yes there were several patches and yes some units were also given xts3000s to use.

True- some units had actual radios and there were patches involved. TRUNKER showed activity on HOTEL, INDIA, and sometimes (?) on one of what I have labeled as a DISASTER talkgroup (22-G?). The primary radio ID I saw active most of the time was previously seen active in relation to MCCU...

Can anyone confirm if it was actually being used for this activity or were the radio IDs being reused?

It's confirmed if you take my word for it.

Works for me!

I've been hoping to get more of an understanding of how that monster is going to be used but I'm guessing that most of it is mostly transparent to radio users (and us) -- which is the whole idea....

The only indication there is without TRUNKER is hearing units patched from all over -- clearly even Marine radio channels were patched in yesterday.

With TRUNKER, if you know the radio IDs, the patches reflect the radio IDs of the consoles/radios in the MCCU... just like when Fire Alarm patches MSP Helos from their consoles in Millersville -- the radio IDs that pop up are console radios from FA.

The bus was active again today patching up multiple Marine VHF frequencies... I saw at least three different talkgroups associated with the MCCU active at the same time - DNR units, DNR helos, Coast Guard, Coast Guard Aux units,.... busy day...
