? about using arc software

If you go in to a sys say colo dtrs and do some lockouts of tg's afterwards do you send data to radio am I correct?

also after creating the colo sys some groups show up as e empty why? there was an error msg during downloading how do you recover the groups that show empty?

Your question doesn't really make sense.

Are you asking how to send the lockout status of the frequency or talkgroup to the radio?

If so, then yes the system needs to be written to the radio again. Anything changed needs to be sent to the radio again before it will take effect. You can overwrite just that system that you changed or any number of systems. It all depends on how many different settings across systems were changed.

I was just wondering if when you make edits to sys, groups, etc using arc if you send it to radio using that option which you clarified I thought so but wasn't sure.

as to second ? when I use RR to download sys you get a msg re there are more than 200 tg's and you then hit ok but each ok evidently sets up a group with nothing in it and it shows an E for empty group has no data. How do you fix this break up the sys to keep under this limit? like colo dtrs 1, 2, 3?

I will agree with wjf on one point, if you could take the time to carefully craft a post criticising him, then you could take the time to craft a question that someone could understand and respond to. If someone has a legitimate question about software used for scanning purposes or programming scanners, then ask it in a sensible manner.
If you have difficulty understanding how your scanner works or scanning in general this is not the forum.
If you want to trash other people, go to some other site.
