I have been having problems trying to get the Pro 2096 to trunk the frequencies for Wayne Countys new system. If I leave the frequenices in FM mode except the CC, I hear the voice ok, just will not trunk track the frequencies. I loaded the frequencies with Win96, just doesn't seem to work. I thanks there is more I need to enter to trunk the VHF. I have asked for help on the Radio Shack forum, but so far haven't found the solution. One did say that maybe I should post hear and someone may have the anwser. I run Pro96Com and got these figures.

I don't have that scanner but try entering the control channels and setting the mode to (P-25) Auto. That should do it.

Thanks for replying to my problem. That call sign sounds familar. I had a guy on the radio shack forum help me out. I got it going now. It was kind of complicated because of the p25 vhf and the steps they are using. 73's

PRO-2096 Setup for Wayne System

Hello N4GRT,

Could you please let me know the Base Freq, Spacing and Offset you used for the PRO-2096 on the Wayne County System. I'm having a time getting my 2096 setup as well. Do you know if it will work setting it up with only one table or does it need more?

Thanks!

N4GRT,

Glad to see you on the forums here. I'm a ham from Wayne County. I had problems getting my PSR-600 to track the wayne county system a few weeks ago when I visited.

I even remember your old ham callsign.....

This means you need to set up a table

Base 151.185
Step 2.5 Khz
Lo 0 High 4095 Offset 0

You must use a recent version of WIN96 software to set the 2.5 step.

Good luck
