Adcom Chase, Manhunt

Surprised no one has posted, lots of Blue NW etc traffic since about 0300hrs, at one point over 15 agencies were involved.

Police say four people are in custody after a police chase early Thursday morning.

Police say undercover officers were watching the four at West 50th Avenue and Federal Boulevard because of their alleged involvement in a suspected auto theft ring. Police say the suspects began chasing the undercover officers around 2 a.m. The officers then called for backup.

Police say the suspects rammed a police car at East 48th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. The chase ended at East 58th Avenue and York Street.

Police are still looking for possibly three more people that may be involved.

I-270 was shut down for a period between I-76 and Vasquez Monday morning because of the chase. It reopened around 6:15 a.m.

At least 13 cop cars and this was daylight, after it was over.

Had been listening to them track these guys for about a week, stolen and dumped several cars, and it finally ended last night when they decided to do some traffic stops on a couple of the players... and it was off to the races.

Once the one car rammed the officer, things really lit up. At one point I think every Denver district dispatch channel was patched together until they moved it all to Blue NE (I thought it was NE, not NW). Air was called in, dogs from multiple agencies, motorcycle cops... By the time I finally had to call it quits and go to bed, they only had 2 of 7 in custody. Looks like they picked up most the rest of them.
