Adding GSp channel

I have the Police,fire,sheriff all on different channels (1 2 3 4 etc).Now id like to add GSP to it,but dont know how to add it as a separate channel for them.I use psredit,but its still confusing as He** to me.Can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

It appears you are in GA from your profile. Last I remember, Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has been using motorola iden type radio's for awhile and I don't think there is any way to monitor that.

GSP does not use SouthernLinc anymore. If you live inside the I-285 perimeter, they use Atlanta's P-25 system. Outside the perimeter, they still use 154.680 as their base frequency, and 154.800 as their mobile frequency. 765.4375/ PL 156.7, as their mobile repeater frequency. It was updated in the RR database a while back.

I had someone add it on for me,but it seems their talk is on the local pd frequency as well.Also sometimes i get alot of static that the squelch doesnt fix and it just hangs on that channel

Okay, good to know. I was checking the DB and it did appear the they were on the P25 system now inside 285.
