I just heard Air Evac dispatch give out the frequency and tone for the Brownwood tower.
460.650 DPL 331
This is different than what is in the database.

Howdy, Tom-

Yepper, that's where we get 'em here too in Abilene, calls and all. I just stumbled on to it one time, and have had it on my scanner ever since.

Update after 3 years

The database listings for Brownwood are probably no good now.
They may be using 151.505 DPL 226 there now. Somebody down that way needs to confirm it.

Remember a while back we verified that most of that was unverifiable. Good Catch, will add that to the ever-changing verified list.

Database is correct... for now (05/23/2011)

I found this old post and thought I would add that during a band opening a while back I found the correct frequency and tone and submitted it. The database listing is currently correct (461.275 PL 141.3) but I would not be surprised if they move from UHF to VHF in the future.
