Reach 1028 contacting Puerto Rico reporting they have a possible engine shutdown requesting landing at alternate. Aircraft reported that they departed from Bermuda.

command post states no flight plan filed foor take off requests from bermuda must contact base commander and portaguese and us authorities will take about 30 mics

Ok....they are still on 11175. sounds like the issue is with 1029 the sister ship of Reach 1028.

Your correct it's the sister ship 1029 with the problem , Puerto Rico will check with Reach every 10 minutes.

Reach 1029 is still working Puerto Rico requesting phone patch then they QSY to 11.220. Still active it seems.

Ok so they departed from Bermuda and were requesting to land at Lajes Azores which means they must be somewhere over the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Not a good spot to have engine problems!!! Anybody know if they made it to their destination OK?
