AirMethods purchases CJ systems

Next month AirMethods (LifeNet) and CJ systems (StatCare) will ink the deal on the buyout. Once complete AirMethods will be the largest Medevac helicopter service in the US.

I have been told by a couple of employees that base stations will be relocated. I was told that LifeNet 6 (Elizabethtown base) will move to Bardstown. The Statcare base at Bowmen field will move to Southern Indiana.

I'll post more as the information comes in.

Any word on where that leaves MedFlight of East Kentucky out of Pikeville and Ashland? CJ bought them late last year.....
