FMP24 (dongle), FPMA (Airspy) and FMPP (SDRPlay) all have a spectral display. It displays just what is needed and nothing more. It is by no mean fancy, like SDRsharp or SDRuno. But it's lightweight on resources and works perfectly with DSDPlus FL.
DSDPlus doesn't monitor more than one frequency at a time. If you wanted to do that you would need more than one dongle, need to run multiple instances of FMP*+DSDPlus FL, and best to run each from its own directory. You can change the freq you want to monitor using FMP* . So it will monitor whatever freq you want, but only one at a time.
You can have a scanlist, but that should only be used if you are scanning conventional (non-trunked) freqs. No channelization for trunked systems. Yes it decodes P25 PHase II (including TDMA control channels). No, it won't run an IC-R8600 (and you shouldn't expect it to). You could fee unfiltered audio from your R8600 into your Line In jack on your computer and then feed the line-in into DSDPlus.
Online documentation is poor to nonexistent. People are expected to do their homework, and read. I have no problem with the lack of online documentation. You should thoroughly read (multiple times) every *.TXT file in the DSDPlus folder, as well as the examples at the top of the DSDPlus.Networks / .Sites / .Freqs / .Groups / .Radios files.
And you should not expect that ancient DSDPlus free version to do everything the new version does. It doesn't. It never will. Update or not, that's your choice. But I can guarantee you that you don't want to email complaints to the author.
That's all I'm going to add. I personally won't respond to any other questions of yours unless/until you are running DSDPlus FastLane. I can only offer help with up to date software. What you are doing is equivalent to asking people to help you learn how to use Windows 3.1 when you should be running Windows 10/11 lol.
