I am curious. Because, I am not getting them. I double-checked the CC freq's, trying two different sites.
Alamance Co VIPER down?

Cane Mtn n' Mebane. They are the closest of the four sites in the county.

More than likely they have changed frequencies of those towers

I wish that was the reason. But I checked the RRDB date for updates. Those two towers are current.
If they changed the freqs the new ones might not be in the database yet...Try a search to see if you can find a control channel. 770 Mhz and 850 Mhz

But did you do a search with the scanner to see if you could find a new CC since you said those are not working?

The only other two on the RRDB, for Alamance County, are too far.

Chris you might be surprised what you are missing by not having those other sites in your scanner Just because you think it to far it might not be

I am laughing because. I immediat3ly thought of 'so close, yet so far', just the opposite.
Are you still having trouble with the Cane Mtn. site? It's coming in loud & clear on 859.5875 where I live between Saxapahaw & Snow Camp. The Mebane site is also coming in normally.
