Hello friends. I have been looking all over the internet, and this site seems to be the only place I can almost find what I am looking for. I am looking for the scanner frequency code for The Alaska State Troopers, mainly the Matanuska-Susitna area (Palmer, Wasilla). I saw one code, but it looked like it was mainly for Anchorage. Then I saw a page of updates for The AST, and under CHANGES, it gace some new codes, but did not say what area's they were for. As you all know, ALASKA is HUGE! So every area, is going to be pretty important. I dont want to end up getting a code for Fairbanks or Barrow (which is over 400 miles from my city), and not be able to pick anything up. I am pretty new at this "scanner lifestyle" so Im sure the answer to my question is right out in front of me. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appriciated! Thank you all, and happy holidays from your Alaskan friend.

You may also want to try the Alaska forum for the frequencies (not codes) you are looking for using the search feature. Codes usually refer to 10 codes or similar.

The Alaska State Troopers are planning to switchover to the ALMR. They may already done so in the Matanuska-Susitna area. You will need a scanner that can decode Project 25 modulated trunking systems in order to receive the ALMR.
