I know this might have been posted before, but I can not find it. Does anyone have a list of where the engines and trucks are assigned. For example Fremont, Ca Engine 1 that runs out of station 1 is Engine 51 when it used to be 3841. I was just wondering if anyone had a full list of the engines and truck call signs and the station they run out of. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have seen this link and it has helped. Thank you for the reply. I was wondering if anyone had a list of the Batt. Chiefs locations and what area they cover? Also is hayward and Oakland part of the ALCO dispatch?

Oakland Fire Department continues to use the old numbering system as it is too expensive to switch over currently..apparently it could cost 30-40 thousand that we do not have.

We have our own dispatch center and we also dispatch for Emeryville FD (E2441, E2442, T2471)

Our own numbering system is based off of the idea that 24=Emeryville 25=Oakland and the last two digits signify the type of resource as follows:

25xx plus

00 - 11 = Various Chief officers
12-14 = Batt Chief 2-4
20-39 = Staff Officers (arson, safety, training etc)
41-69 = Engines 1-29
71-77 = Trucks 1-7
81-88 = Patrol/Brush wagons
91-99 = Heavy Rescue, Water Rescue, Hazmat, Air van, Comm Van etc...

Nope Alco does not contract with oakland or Hayward, Both have their own dispatch. As far as Fremont. their engines assignments start with 51 for Sta#1 52 for 2 etc and so on. check the link below for station information. I beleive fremont have 2 battalions. Battlion 5 and 6. County has battalions chiefs 1-4. Union City is 8, Livermore/Pleasanton is 9. I think newark is 7....

Thank you for the information, I knew this from when Fremont was the same way 3871 was engine one, but I have been away for awhile and it changed while I was gone.
