Anyone know the differences between the E (Euro) and the T (US) version?
I know the E version does not come with DTMF mic, what else is different?

Also, I am reading literature that says it does NFM - does that mean true 12.5KHz mode?
I know the Narrobanding Mandate does NOT apply to Low Band (30-50 MHz) 220, 700, 800
or 900 MHz systems, nor to FRS, GMRS, MURS, Amateur, Marine VHF, or CB radio users.
So why would this radio be capable of Narrowband? Someone enlighten me?

Are there any other ham radios that are capable of 12.5KHz narrowband?

Thanks in advance,

I know its a good looking radio - that was not my question.

More specifically, my question is once you do the 'mod' will it accept the freq 154.2725

I know on my old alinco i can get it to do 154.2875 (VFIRE25) but not 154.2725 (VFIRE24).

Anyone know if this radio (DR-635) will accept 154.2725?

Please someone test it out and tell me?

Thanks,

No that mod won't work. Your radio will only allow you to transmit and receive in the steps that are already set in the radio. The radio only allows the steps shown on page 17 of the manual.

Help

Hi I have entered the service menu on the radio and tried to change some of the receiver settings, sensitivity L, M and H. I failed to write the previous settings down and therefore have resulted in no audio on 2 meters.
An help on the factory defaults for these settings.

Thanks,
Tom
