Does anyone have a list showing the Alpha designators for the counties in Utah for state radios systems? For instance, Salt Lake County is "I" (India) and Sanpete is "Q" (Quebec). The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office is 1I (one India) on the State radio system and SLC PD is 2I (two India) like when there is a chase and the units turn to the state wide or Regional TG.

I would like to find a complete list for the whole state of Utah. If anyone knows where I could find it or would post it here I would be grateful.

Wow, Mick. That is just what I was looking for. In fact, it has much more information than I could have hoped for. I thought I would be lucky just to get the Counties, but to have the cities and other agencies as well is terrific.

I tried doing a Google search and came up empty handed.

Thank you!

Bag O' Tricks

Thanks for that link, very helpful. By chance, in that bag o' tricks, do you have the dispatch codes the EMS guys use?

Try here: http://www.bearcat1.com/radiout.htm

Scroll down (a little over half way) until you see "VECC & SALT LAKE POLICE/FIRE & RESCUE DISPATCH CODES."

These are the codes that the Unified Fire dispatchers use when dispatching medical related calls.

I hope those are the ones you were looking for.

I stumbled into those years ago when they were just going into trunking here for the Winter Olympics. That was before I knew that RR even existed. I was looking for TGs when I found these. It seems that most of the information you need or want just pops up in the most unexpected places.
