On December 5, 2007 detectives from the Weld County Sheriff's Office received a Weld County District Court order directing the Weld County Sheriff's Office to locate 3 minor children. The children are Daniel, age 6, Joyce, age 5, and Andrew, age 3. The children were said to be in imminent physical or emotional danger while in the custody of their mother, Evelyn Elmira Jewell.
The sheriff's office has contacted the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and a Media Alert has been launched.
The children may be in a black 4 door Honda car with an unknown temporary tag. The vehicle could be en route to Mississippi. Evelyn Jewell is 24 years old, 5’ 4”, 100 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
