This one has stumped me for years and I can't seem to find a reference for it. Bend PD uses it and I know it's for someone with a mental illness, just can't figure out what the A stands for.

Accute Mental Illness
Agressive Mental Illness
Adult Mental Illness

Anyone???

Possibly Acute Myocardial Infarction which is a heart attack. But that doesn't fall into the Mental category.

As having worked several years in the pre-hospital care field, I would agree with this. :)

And I was in police work long enough to know when they're talking about a mental subject. It's definitely AMI and not AMA and it's not a heart attack. Guess I'll just need to go ask, just keep forgetting about it.
