Can anyone confirm which Amtrak PD repeater sites are in service in the area to the North of GCT (Bronx, Westchester area up through Stamford)? I know I can run 161.295 CSQ but I would like to program the sites with tones so that I can eliminate as much noise as possible. I have an old document that shows the following, but I am not super familiar with the area and don't know where these sites are other than the conclusions I am drawing from the names.

"RACE RPT" - 161.295 107.2 (APD H)
"MVL RPT" - 161.295 100.0 (APD B)
"ADAMS RPT" - 161.295 88.5 (APD A)
"MET RPT" - 161.295 94.8 (APD F)
"NYP RPT" - 161.295 131.8 (APD D) - Penn Station?
"125TH ST" - 161.295 94.8 (APD F) - 125th St in Harlem?
"SSY RPT" - 161.295 156.7 (APD E) - Sunnyside Yard?

Any of these still active?

Hey, just to let you know at one time I was unable to hear Amtrak police out of Morrisville, across the river from Trenton New Jersey on the standard frequency with a PL of 100 on the Trenton repeater. It was gone for a while.

Just want to let you know that the standard frequency with a PL of 100 that is shared by Lancaster which I do pick up once in a blue moon is working fine now and they actually improved the system, they don't have all of the problems they always had. Can't help you with a little bit further up the road towards NYC.

@trentbob you actually answered part of my question. I bet "MVL RPT" is Morrisville.
Yes, yes it is... I'm in Bristol which is just south of Grundy interlocking. Many of the listings are incorrect, the road Channel changes from 160.92 heading north to 161.01 at Grundy interlocking which is just shy of Trenton station heading north. Obviously they want the road channel to change well before... Trenton.

As far as the Morrisville Amtrak police repeater, Morrisville is just across the river from Trenton, the river is the state line, I live a few miles south of there. The police will refer to it as the Trenton repeater but it is located in the huge Morrisville yard on the PA side just south of the river.

Has anyone heard anything on any of these channels? I remember trying to hear Amtrak Police for a few weeks in October and getting nothing. (If I recall correctly it was the Penn Station repeater)

I hear them in PA when I'm there. The amount of radio traffic from them has been dramatically less the last few times I've been up there, but they do talk.

I'm just trying to get my Westchester stuff updated.

Does Amtrak PD patrol north of Penn Station NY? They didn’t a few years ago, outside of the onboard train patrols. Then used the road channel in an emergency.

That's a good question.. I know (think) they own the ROW as far north as the split at New Rochelle and then it's owned by MTA until.. New Haven?

For the past six years since I commuted on New Haven and Hudson Line. I have only seen Amtrak PD at Penn Station and Sunnyside Yard. Incidents that occur or involve Amtrak trains on MNR territories are responded by MTA Police on both Hudson (up to Poughkeepsie station) and New Haven line (up to New Haven station).

So it would make sense that since Metro North owns the ROW between New Rochelle and New Haven, there would not be any APD sites between these locations. Now to just narrow down if the above sites for 125th St, "Adams", and "MET" are still in service and exactly where they are. I assume the Penn Station site is underground.
