I use a table top radio in my office. I like to listen to a talk station that I receive crystal clear in my car. My car is parked 50' from my office. The radio on my desk can not receive the station. What is the problem antenna or radio?

What is the problem antenna or radio?

Yes.

The problem is that the signal level delivered to the radio is too low given the sensitivity of the radio in that noise environment.

The building cuts the signal, the antenna is not as good, the radio is probably not as sensitive, and the noise environment is probably worse.
