Iv got a homemade antenna that use to work way better then any that iv ordered before.
But i moved to a amp building now and the thing sucks.
I cant even get the local edacs system

Would getting one of these help at all? I can get some fleetnet, edacs, and michigan mpscs. but not all the time.. it comes is spurts. So i can hear 1 unit talk for maybe 20 seconds or so and migh tnot get the signal back for another 3 mins or more.

Im just wondering if these would improve the signal so i can get these signals back.

It might help, it might not. For sure your radio will get blasted with the strong FM stations in your area ... that _may_ make things worse on some frequencies. YOu could try it and see. Best option is to get an antenna outside, or by a window.
