Antenna Suggestions for an ICOM IVC800

Any ideas on a good mobile antenna for this radio?

Myself, I just use a NMO permanent mount, with a Antennex 1/4 whip. Works really good, have it mounted dead center of the roof of my explorer.

What are your plans for the radio? Are you going to use it as a HAM radio or just to listen?

Yeah go with what kc0jar says. He has a nice setup / truck too. Simple 1/4 wave would work great, plus still be able to get into those pesky ATM and other areas without any worries.

NMO Mounts (Motorola) is attached to the end of the coax so you can screw on your antenna. I'm attaching a few more pix. You can also get these as mag mounts or use the NMO mount with an "L" bracket and attach the antenna to your vehicle this way if you decide not to drill the hole.
