Any P25 activity in the Tampa Florida area?

I'm about to buy a Motorola radio that is P25 capable and thought I'd give it a try if there was a repeater in my area. Not my primary objective for the radio, but since the radio is P25 capable why not ....

Have you checked out repeaterbook.com ?

That's where most, if not all the ham repeaters are.
