Anybody got a clue on alkalines?

... Costco Kirkland Signature is pretty much the best bang for the buck, that is easily found.

I read some online reviews that say otherwise. That surprised me, as they have good products, typically.

How many others have experience with Costco batteries?

About the only place I get AA or AAA batteries now is Costco. Usually Kirkland brand but sometimes Duracell if they are offered on sale. While the Duracell may last a bit longer, I've had no issues with the Kirkland. It's quite possible that I'm imagining the slight difference as I've never actually done a measured comparison. Again, I have no reservations about recommending Kirkland AA or AAA batteries. I've never tried any other sizes to offer a recommendation.
