"The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an apparent homicide in Northeast Leesburg.

Shortly after 9 PM Wednesday members of the Leesburg Police Department responded to a gunfire complaint on Woodberry Road near the intersection of North Street. At the scene authorities discovered a deceased adult male sitting in a running vehicle.

The Leesburg Police Department requested members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division take the lead in the investigation. Members of the Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigations Unit are currently gathering evidence at the scene.

Authorities are asking anyone who has information regarding this apparent homicide to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000."

"A Leesburg man has been charged by Loudoun Sheriff’s Investigators in the Wednesday night murder of 27-year-old Jose Eduardo Santos-Machado.

Narciso Landero-Pons, 20, has been charged with murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

On Wednesday, members of the Leesburg Police Department responded to a gunfire complaint on Woodberry Road near the intersection of North Street in northeast Leesburg. At the scene authorities discovered the victim sitting in a running vehicle.

The Leesburg Police Department requested members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division take the lead in the investigation. Members of the Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigations Unit are currently gathering evidence at the scene.

Landero-Pons was taken into custody early Friday and is being held without bond.

More information will be released on the case as it can be made available."

I heard some LCSO comms last night that I believe to be related to them preparing to nab the guy. I think it may be gang related. Unitracker showed it was gang units doing the talking.

Yeah on the POS BC890. Only good for the 800mhz freqs and a little bit of 400mhz. In the 380-390 range it has problems and makes all sorts of noise.

But I have a used 996 on the way. I'll be decoding lots of NACs too I hope.:)

I tapped my 996T, it was very easy.
